The world as we know it is falling apart. The muggle public have had magic revealed to them and they are not responding well; fear, betrayal and suspicion are resting heavily on their minds. They call for their own government to step down, and although the efforts of the wizarding world to placate their neighbours are having some effect, hate groups have started to form within muggles and they intend to make sure they're safe through violence. Harry Potter is in France, undercover and trying to unearth the group responsible for the release, while Hermione Granger-Weasley heads up diplomatic relations in England with the muggle public. As a precautionary measure, the Minister of Magic has temporarily set up barriers around certain magical areas to protect those within. One of them is around Hogwarts and Hogsmeade to protect the students - those inside can't get out, but no-one can get in. This is where our story starts - what will happen next?[/ul]
