Most of my day had been spent lying on this bench reading Frannie and Zooey, which is probably my all time favorite book. It was sprinkling a bit outside, the only reason I was in Central Park. No sane person came to the park in the rain but I'm not exactly sane. But Central is too noisy when its not rainy.
I drop of rain fell on to my book. The rain was building on the leaves up above my head. It was getting too full and I would have to leave or move soon. Maybe go to the deli on 3rd. I finished the last sentence on the page before getting up.
I started walking but ran in to a solid object. "Ow. Sorry." I stumbled and looked up to see a pretty face. Her beautiful blue eyes contrasted perfectly with her dark hair. I smiled at her. "I should have been watching where I was going.

I see a sense of wonder deep inside your eyes
As we're sparkling and twirling in the twilight
And after three long years, I think that we both need thisSo we seal the deal in the parking lot with a kiss And in case you were wondering, you are like a sunset to me
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally, a day with rain. It had been sunny and warm all week and she had been stuck in the Cullen home, not being able to go to school. Although Scarlett loved spending time with her family, she would much rather be outisde, doing the things she loved. Like going to the library and reading books about romance and mystery, shopping and this.
Walking through her favourite place, the park, she could smell the flowers freshly blooming in the flowerbeds nearby. She could hear people walking through the park, their feet splashing the small puddles on the ground. Thankfully, the people were not very close to her. She could smell them, their blood, but not like she could if they were standing two metres away.
But there was one specific scent that was catching her offguard. He was near and his blood smelled good. Mouth-watering. But she couldn't attack him, her family would be so disappointed in her, even angry. Her throat started to burn with thirst. She had to get out of here and fast. She started to run, looking around her for where that scent was coming from. Without even realizing it, she ran into someone. She caught herself, much to her surprise and looked up at him. It was him, the scent. "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." She tried to say, without breathing in anymore of his scent. He was good-looking, someone she could fall for. But she was a vampire, not a human. She couldn't fall for a human, she wasn't going to be like her parents.

Cam looks up at Scarlett's glowing features and all words flee. "Ummm..." Is all that comes out of his mouth. The short, slender girl in front of him seems to radiate a sort of light. Cameron smiles at her and straightens his posture. Scarlett apologizes profusely, saying that she toowas not paying attention but Cameron won't hear it. "I should have been watching." he admitted.
Intrigued by the girls beautiful face and quite atmosphere Cameron introduces himself. "I'm Cameron Webber. And you are?" Cam was pretty blunt when it came to introductions. He hated the fru-fru formalities of 'proper' society and would rather just get straight to the point, what is your fucking name?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Breathing through both her mouth and nose made her nose and throat burn. Scarlett smiled slightly, trying not to breathe in his scent anymore than she already had. Usually she would argue more with a person but with his scent and how cute he was, she let it go and let him believe what he want.
"Scarlett Cullen." She was a little surprised by how blunt he was with introduction himself but she liked it. Surprisingly, but she did. Just like she loved him. "No, Scarlett, you cannot love him. You can't even like him. You're a vampire, not a human." Seeing he was getting slightly uncomfortable, she started a new topic. "So.. you like coming to the park when it's raining?" She laughed quietly.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES: Done! I smiled at the girl. Scarlett, what a beautiful name. I tucked my book in my jacket pocket. I looked her in the eyes, golden. Everything about her seemed golden. It was different...intriguing. She asked my why I was in the park during a rainstrom. She laughed a small infectious laugh. Like a fairy. "Sometimes. I'll let you in on a secret." I leaned in towards her and lowered my voice. I darted my eyes for theatrical effect. "Tourists don't like rain." I whispered to her.
She laughed againa nd I found myself laughing right along with her. The rain was beginning to pour a bit harder and we were both getting soaked. I watched as a raindrop fell on to her skin in a shimmering light of diamond. Maybe she is a fairy, I thought to myself. "Would you like to get a cup of coffee?" I asked. "The rain is going to drench us completely if we don't find shelter soon."
